Anyone else noticed what appears to be the soft focus/out of focus look of the studio camera shots in the 7pm news ?
It looks like all the presenters are doey eyed or someone has smeared oil over the camera lens. JUst wondered if the ABC Perth were using 'native' 16:9 cameras in the studio or cropping/resampling 4:3 image to 16:9 which results in such poor quality ? Any ideas ? |

Perth ABC is going through the moving from old to new digs. For a while the news may be going via a PAL analogue path. For a few weeks I think Adelaide are going to do the perth news and WA will be switched form interstate as they move the equipment that cannot be duplicated. |

(Haven't been watching the 7pm news too much lately, but I bet they didnt make that known ... especially when they have their phony and totally superfluous "live interviews") |
