I've noticed for a while now that if I have a blank screen on my Kuro LX5080 that almost the whole screen has a red tint to it. Very easy to see with the lights off etc. While watching movies with my background light on I don't really notice it.
I've done done a search on it and looks like there is a thread over at AVS and they are playing around in the service menu and found that adjusting a value RST P, they are returning the blacks back to normal. Seems to be due to the way the panel ages and the voltages etc.
I've had a look at my service menu and RSTP isn't there at all. Looks like our version is different to the US Kuro's.
Any other Kuro owners have this issue?

Check your colour temperature setting in the picture menu; 'Warm' usually produces a red white, while 'Cool' produces a blue white. It's also well known that people who live in cold climates prefer a warm white, while those who live in hot climates favour a cool white. Australia is normally the latter.
