Hi guys check out this email i got from Foxtel:

I appreciate the time you have taken to contact us regarding Days of Our Lives. Foxtel has not picked up Days of Our Lives and will not be screening the series. We have been told by the distributor, the program has been sold to another commercial network.

the only way to bring it up to date is to do what they did a few years ago & that was to strip 3 years out of it & just do a summary of what happened in the missing years. We were only 6 months behind then but the cricket put us back again.

the daily episodes are on you tube each day

I posted on days of our lives australian face book page about another commercial station purchasing the series & the reply was " no"

10 is the only channel that hasn't refused so there is still hope, although I have started watching at other places.

lol I think foxtel are just making stories up as none of the channels are claiming they are having talks. I don't really care as I am perfectly happy watching on line with all the ads taken out.

An on-going daytime strip seems like an expensive outlay for Network Ten given their financial struggles and the fact that they want to go hard at sports rights. TV1 are co-owned by Sony, the didtributor. If they were smart theyd pick it up to breathe life into their boring scripted episodic repeat schedule.
