After seeing WINSTON'S exhaustive list of channels available (presumably in Sydney) I was wondering if anyone has a full list of channel frequencies for Melbourne and outer suburbs/regional, because I only get access to the main city channels and their sub-channels (ie 7/9/10/ABC/SBS and their TV1,2 etc) at a variable 55-65% reception.

If WIN and Prime and some of the other listed channels are on different frequencies, can different aerials or other equipment give digital access to these channels? I recall several years ago inner city clubs/pubs and some suburban private users having access to coverage of local sports events that were broadcast interstate and regionally but not on local analogue channels. Is this still possible with digital coverage, and how can it be achieved?

riley454,
If you are just interested in Melbourne click on http://www.dtvforum....showtopic=11399

There for a full regional list check http://www.dtvforum....showtopic=12503 Each Victorian region is listed there.

Just remember that each TV channel can contain up to 4 separate programs. Some may be identical waiting for multiple camera shots.

Riley, You should look in the Melbourne viewer's forum on this site because there has been some discussion on this already. Set the field at the bottom of the screen to show all posts not just the last few.
