I believe its a little bit more political than that - AFAIK Australia Network dont have a licence to broadcast into China, something the ABC has been trying to rectify for a long time

I'm wondering why there's another Monday night game coming up in Round 10, then a Thursday night match in Round 14, both in Perth, both West Coast home games
