Didn't realise that, I think I just watched it on the SD channel last night for the first semi final. Time to pour a couple of pints of home brew off the keg and settle down with some cashews

I just watched the Rockwiz Byron Bay Blues Festival. This Outside Broadcast was shot in HD with sharp pictures. When I went from channel 30 to 3 (SD) the difference in image sharpness was stark. Alanh

It looked sensational on SBS HD last week - so much better the Se7en's AFL broadcasts.  If they have the same or similar HD gear at Sydney tonight, then i have no reason to doubt it will also be in good HD.

Football on SBS looked decent last night... It could be so much better though on a proper bitrate, but all in all not too bad. Well done SBS, although please no 1 hour delay next time.
