Usually in November they put some new channels don't they? I'm sure they will squeeze them into the existing transponders as well. Make the HD channels looks even worse!

i thought we were getting eurosport HD ages ago yet still nothing.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they dropped a few channels to improve PQ (I know there's no chance of this happening).  Any more HD services without moving to new transponders will virtually kill off HD.

Looks like Foxtel Go will be made available instead of new channels. It is supposed to be launching at the end of next week.

I wish they'd make better use of Fox Footy, it's a waste of a HD channel, especially when HD stuff is being shown on viewer's choice

I was watching Mediaweek this week and I saw Box Office HD being advertised on the show.

Gotta love mediaweek. The clips they play are from years ago. The clip they were showing was from them the HD channels first launched a few years back.

They recently had a discussion about outdoor advertising and the clips they were showing were outdoor advertising which included the movie End of Days which came out in 1999.

Mediaweek is amatuer half hour. I do watch it every week though, for the comedic work of James and they often have some interesting guests.

Have they not get any space available from the olympic channels ? Sky News Multiscreen full screen would be good, the quality and size at the moment is terrible, also how about Fox Sports 3D. Some Premier League games are being shown in 3D in the UK now.

There already is a multi brand 3D channel already. No point having a dedicated Fox Sports one until the multi brand one is effectively used.

The special temporary vertical transponder 11887V used for the Olympics SD channels has now been leased for the VAST service. The SBS channels for the VAST service are being migrated from the Optus C1 12447V transponder to the more powerful Optus D3 11887V transponder starting from September 2012 with both transponders showing the same SBS channels before the 12447V transponder stops being used by VAST in Dec 2012.

The temporary vert transponder 11969V used for the HD Olympics channels is sitting idle with no DVB transmission. No one is interested in leasing it currently. Meanwhile VAST has also leased a 2nd Optus D3 vertical transponder (11928V) for extra radio and TV channels (currently Sky Racing and various spare channels to be used for various purposes later).

Eurosport HD would be a great addition. After watching Fox Sports HD and ESPN HD you really notice the picture quality difference when you tune into Eurosport.

"There already is a multi brand 3D channel already"

And it is pretty average. Rehashing ESPN 3D US Sports over and over.
They need to show Sky Sports UK 3D content and give ESPN 3D the flick.

History channel in HD would be good. Can't wait for the new all BBC HD channel. Thats going to be a big favourite in this household.

Still waiting for them to add in Disney Movie Channel - New and Old Classic Disney Movies not including 707ch - Disney - all craps!  and MGM channel on its own.
Notice the Family channel are really bad - too many Batman and Scooby Doo cartoons!!!!

Movie Network - FMC  are much better than what Family Movies are offering now.

The more channels they ad, the worse the bitrate gets on all the others...
