About time to change this treads title now to something like..........

EOI for slightly used JVC HD750 PJ , new globe, used daily for children minding only!, comes with special pink edging facility not generally seen by most users!, Owners' going bonkers and cannot stand it any more, want to upgrade! Suffering deeply (his pockets) needs immediate relief, send help, cheques or cash will do nicely. can be demonstrated with or without Pink edging feature, * = conditions apply. Ex stock, free chat, no GST.

If Jvc come to the party and they do a full repair for free, will you still buy the X70 and sell the 750?

Yes and no!  Lol

Plan to buy next week and if they say they will repair before then, which they won't, then would not buy; That assumes they will respond by next week. Still nothing from them and will send a follow-up Monday.  Could be ignoring me or could be they have sent up the chain for an answer. The repairer ,  Kenwood, would need to get approval from JVC Japan as they would not bear the cost on their backs. This could take weeks.

When I sent in previous HD750 under warranty with a brightness problem Haegmeyer said it needed new optics and would need to replace unit. They said none in country and would ask Japan if they could give me an X7 in its place. JVC Japan said NO and JVC Japan sent a replacement HD750 which took 3 weeks to arrive from Japan. That was after they had the unit for 4 weeks.

Anyway. they could offer to replace it with another HD750 ( doubt it) or a newer comparable unit in which case I will sell the replacement unit.  They could also say they will provide a unit of some sort at a reduced rate.  In which case I will take up their offer given I can sell and recoup some of my loss.
