Your problem is that when receivers do a scan for signals the start at channel 6 and continue up to channel 69. If the receiver picks up a reasonable signal it remembers it along with the channel numbers transmitted in the signal. So for example if it gets an SBS signal it will remember for that signal channels 3, 30, 32, 33, and 34 regardless of which transmitter it came from.

What you need to do is to put your own address into the digital ready website to get the direction of the Newborough transmitter. You may have to click on change transmitter to get the correct transmitter.

Remove your antenna aimed at Mt Dandenong.

Rotate your UHF antenna in the direction of Lot 5 cnr Golf Links Rd and Coach Rd Haunted Hills


Disconnect the antenna cable to the receiver and do a complete scan to remove all memorised channels.
Start the scan with the antenna disconnected. Do not reconnect it until the scan has past channel 45. Then let the scan complete. If you cannot tell which channel is being scanned let the scan complete about 80 % of the scan. If you don't get SBS then repeate the above process but start the scan slightly earlier.

Alternatively do a complete antenna disconnected scan. Then manually scan the channels in the list of Haunted Hills.

If the above improves the reliability of the reception but it is not perfect, replace the antenna with an antenna recommended as H5 link in http://au.dtvforum.i...opic=14030&st=0
