Only being broadcast once a day, you are saying, startiing at 11am.

Yes - there is a program starting at 11.00 am each morning that has the highlights of the previous day from an international perspective with the international commentary team. It usually starts a minutes or so late and finishes around 3.40.
The loop doesn't reflect this show.

I'm watching it now (playback of PVR recording from 11am today). Gymnastics at the moment,  Very nice 3D footage.

It's interesting how a broadcaster's logo in 3D  doesn't work with some picture content, e.g. if an athlete appears closer to the viewer than the apparent distance of the logo, and the logo can be seen apparently through the athlete's body. An obvious impossiblity in real life.

The 11am 3D coverage today started with kayaking. The water rapids look spectacular in true 3D. Very different to 2D.
