Hi All,

Can you please help me clarify one simple point, as multiple google & thread searches have either turned up results from 2007/8 or nothing at all on my question.

Will using 2 iQ HD boxes (1 from a multiroom connection) at different addresses work at the same time without any issues?

note: both addresses have active cable connections (not satellite)

thanks in advance

You aware that Foxtel has a program in place that when a service call is placed all receivers indicated to be present at the premises are checked for correct operation, right?

If you are happy with no service, that's OK by me.

Having made sure that you are aware of the issue, will it work?  Yes.  If set up properly at the other location it will work.

Why dont you just take a box to your "mates" house and try, then you'll know for yourself.

just dont connect phone line to order movies at 2nd address-

thanks Magnum, does the same rule apply to Ethernet port?

If it's not connected on ethernet / telephone port does that mean you can't remotely schedule programs from your iPhone etc for that box?

Remote scheduling setup is signalled via the satellite or cable system.  It does not require the telephone line nor the ethernet cable to be connected.
