How accurate are the post-restack listings on there? Do we know if they are final or still "indicative".

It seems to agree with the indicative channel plan I have but I can't put hand on heart and say they are final.

Based on Australian Communications and Media Authority data.

Hopefully it helps finding your best DTV transmitter.

Nice tool.  much easier than the ACMA lists and the RCL register maps.  and digital ready is problematic at best.

I was clicking on a few transmitters and happened upon Harrietville site id 153115... is this the lowest transmitter from the ground ?  listed at 2 meters.

I realise that it's on top of a hill but it's got to be the lowest off the ground I've seen...  anyone got any transmitters sitting on a banana lounge in the backyard?

We have recently moved the map onto our own servers:
http://laceys.tv/dtv-map.htm

Also we have added to the existing Digtal TV map:
  • AM Radio
  • FM Radio
  • Digital Radio
  • Analogue TV
  • Temporary Transmissions
The map links directly to ACMA .kmz so updates should be live.

Thanks for the good and bad feedback it's appreciated =]

Interesting that RBA DTV sites are missing from ACMA data - ie. Maclean/Ashby

Hi - The link worked for me. Will be a useful tool.

Re Maclean/Ashby.  I suspect that the problem is that the ACMA online register and data reflects active issued licences. Possibly the data dumps aren't quite the latest data or the ACMA is still finalising the apparatus licensing in their databases.  I suspect there will also be services in the ACMA data which are licensed but haven't started yet (and maybe wont start for some time)
