I've been given the unexpected chance to buy two Australian delivered 18" Velodyne DD+ Sub woofers but I only can barely afford one. Each have 9 months Australian warranty left, come in original boxes etc & are un-marked gloss black, they are in the Brisbane area.
Cost is $4000 each as is where is, a bargain if ever there was one I reckon. Let me know if your interested in joining in.

LOL Al, one will have to do for now - BTW damn they are black piano finish too - the veneer ones are easy to dismiss... anyway mine is only a DD not a DD+ and I think the cabinets don't match (sheesh that was close....)

How does one of this compare to a submersive?

To give you an idea the dd18+ is equivalent in output to two previous model dd18s. it also can plumb down to 8hz. One very serious sub ! And it's not just pure output either with servo control. It is very clean and controlled and low distortion in what does.

BBAR, No I don't loose the chance to get one if the other doesn't sell, but I'm trying to share the good fortune around, love the banter Al's getting too and guess who I rang about the deal first up? and he passed on this tooooooooo!

Your system would sound pretty sweet, might have to pop by your place one day.......not in the middle of the night of course lmao!
