We are always the last to get any new developments despite the fact that we generate most of the wealth in Tasmania.

Use the links in http://www.dtvforum....showtopic=12471 When you put your address in to the link, an approximate installation date is shown if it is not on air already.

Early switchover sites will likely be published on myswitch roughly six months out from the Tassie changeover, if your transmitter happens to be one of those.

No.
despite the fact that we generate most of the wealth in Tasmania.
I was visiting people in Zeehan a few months ago. It wasn't obvious to me that any of that wealth was making it to the local community.

Carnarvon came on air 4 days ago, the high powered commercials for the Great Southern (Mt Barker) are supposed to be on air soon. There has been many new transmitters come on air since Bunbury which was August last year.
How come all these new transmitters are coming on air, Geraldton is a mid power transmitter on air next month, followed by other NW towns. They don't install themselves. You had better post RobertL who has the rollout plans.
It would appear that Wyndham is the last one due in August at this stage.

Alan, Please don't try and drag me into your idiotic posts. What is happening in Western Australia has little bearing on what is happening on the West Coast of Tasmania.
Stump who is in the know on these matters has given advise that the roll out in Tasmania should not be far off.
You then claim that WA is subsidising the roll-out in Tasmainia. Total rubbish as stated by Stump.
I used to think that your posts advising of what antenna types to use in different parts of Australia provided a worthwile service, but now I'm not so sure. The details in most of your posts are very inaccurate and misleading. Why would I trust you to select an antenna.
idiot!

Read the all the posts.
"We are always the last to get any new developments despite the fact that we generate most of the wealth in Tasmania." by the original poster is what i was responding to. WA is getting very little GST back so that we subsidise the rest of Australia which includes Tasmania. Why do you think that the government is introducing the minerals rent tax. The money going into Tasmania from the Commonwealth exceeds what is going to the Commonwealth Government from Tasmania.
Me
"The installation teams are currently installing DTV in regional WA which has many mining areas providing money for subsidising Tasmania" It is obvious that transmitters are being installed in WA now, but it does not say that WA DTV installations are subsidising Tasmania. It is the mining companies. Just like the West Coast Tas mines are generating most of the wealth for Tasmania.
Stump says "Haven't seen the project schedule yet but work on the commercials should start soon." There is currently installs going on in WA and none in western Tasmania.
Whether the install crews which are working in WA will go to Tasmania or separate crews go there is upto the commercial stations.
I only mentioned your name to prove that installs were happening in WA which were being disputed by Stump.

Stump
Where did Stump dispute the installs were happening in WA???
He only disputed the fact that WA was subsidising the Tasmanian rollout claimed by you!
This is another one of your idiotic posts designed to try and confuse everyone.
To try and link what is happrning in WA and claiming it is assosiated with Tasmania is complete rubbish.

Agreed, not worth arguing about as he clearly has no idea.

"absolute rubbish"
If you are trying to say that WA is not subsidising Tasmania, you have never been to the Pilbara. It and Qld are the high speed part of the economy and the other states are the slow speed with Tasmania the slowest.

From my point of view I'd be interested in information on Forth (Braddons Lookout site.)
(And Paloona (Porcupine Hill), if it is indeed going to upgrade.)
