Anyone geared up for the May 15th (Tomorrow) release?

I was just talking to someone about this game a moment ago. It was a spur of the moment purchase for me. Yes I played D1 and D2...wasn't a HUGE fan as lets face it, you walk about clickety clicking everything not nailed down. But I am looking forward to this new 2012 version of that clickety clicking.

I suppose there's not a whole lot to the game mechanics but I guess the enjoyment for me comes from developing your chosen class a certain way.

Do you guys think that the RMAH (Real money auction house) has diminished from the game, as previously you had to play for hours to find the right items now you could just buy them

I just can't get into this game. I can't put my finger on it. I think it's a bit stale. It looks nice but the whole meaningless wandering about bashing everything vibe has become a bit old me thinks.

I agree, I tried a few times... but after walking around those copy/paste dungeons I got bored. Quickly.

It feels like they just put a new Graphic engine in Diablo 2 then rename it Diablo 3!

Yes, there just isn't as much anticipation about what you'll find next. I had enough cash to buy good items in the first level.
But what's killing it for me is the lag and server downtime for single player - it's infuriating!
