I'd really like some suggestions as to what speakers I should consider please.
Thanks in advance.

Yes on the wall next to the screen is an option but I prefer the look of either above in ceiling or below. There's no room to go in wall beside the screen as the plaster is almost right on the brick wall.
Would it be much of a difference if I didnt choose a Paradigm centre? Is it better to go for a good quality other brand centre?
Any advice would be helpful, thanks

There can be issues with adding two speakers to the centre channel that make chosing and placing them a little tricky. Unless the gap between left and right is enormous then a single centre should suffice.
I reckon the OP should be able to find a single centre speaker to make the L/R in-walls, that's what I'd be looking to do.

The CC290 sells for $800 or thereabouts in Australia but can easily be had from the US for $300 or less, plus $180-200 shipping. http://www.ebay.com/...811317879698680
Ideally if you can get close to that price locally, it would be better to buy here so you have Australian warranty, so try Eastwood Hifi. You may find they can do you a very good deal. if they cant get close- forego the warranty and buy o/seas.
