Well, thankyou for that admission kajak. I must admit it did surprise me, but I have to acknowledge you was big enough to admit it.

Sounds like you'll be driving it over?! That woiuld cost a pretty penny! Anyway, if you are driving over I'll see you when you turn up on me doorstep eh? :phone:

look forward to it. :phone:

forgot to ask, if you went down the road of bryans system, and his is his own design I think?, you'd diy yours? You are pretty good with a soldering iron, how are you with the speaker building side.

(depending on your answer I have a later question...oh heck, may as well ask now....how would you set the speakers up? By ear, or would you in that case use measurements :hyper: . How did bryan do it on that question if you know)

The bass driver on bryans system was a group buy the company doesn't make them any more at the time of order 60 people where interested in the bass drivers his midrange drivers are available plasma tweeters are rare and big $$$$ 7k+.
my speakers building skills would rely on bryan long phone calls copy his xover values as they are passive.Bryans used measurements at some points with bass but his ears had the final say xovers are very simple bryan is a horn god i know a few people duplicating his system in melbourne 4x open baffle bass drivers per channel  rock no box colourations and they keep up with horn speed.
plasma tweeters are the formula1 terryj so natural and fast it really creates a illusion one must hear to understand its the system of australia i will put money on it.

You should see the stuff I used on my JTR subs. each core 5mm thick, comes on a giant timber wheel, 100 metre roll takes 2 blokes to lift. Costs over a grand per 100 metre roll, lots of copper!

For the rest I use 12 awg 259 strand figure 8 stuff, works fine.

But are you sure those 'truck jumper cables' for your Subs are thick enough to meet the Kajak approval rating ?

Oh dear......another irrational response, but then that's typical of yourself and your mate.

When you can explain to the rest of us why 'we the uniformed' should adopt your 'hit and miss' approach to elite sound reproduction you might then find you have gained some credibility with us..But as it stands, it hardly raises a ripple above the flatline of your genuity.  A dummy spit doesn't help either.
