i'm looking for some speakers and another amp for my stereo music listening. these are some used ebay items i'm thinking about bidding on. any advice on which set of speakers and which amp to choose would be great.

It all looks like old stuff best avoided. You might be better off saving your money for the time being, for $2k-ish you should be able to find a quite respectable amp and speaker combo on eBay.

i just got this pair of speakers and they sound ok actually. i think they're good for the amount i paid for them, $66.

i know to most here these are more like toy speakers but i can't affort any expensive ones, wish i could.
so i have them hooked up to my old kenwood stereo amp and i'm quite happy with the sound.
at some stage i will update both of them.
