Fta Reception Dropped Since Installing Foxtel

A few weeks back we had cable Foxtel installed. Instantly we noticed a drop in FTA picture quality. It is slightly blurry and looks very noticeable around text on screen, and theres noise around peoples bodies and faces. This is either through the TV or though Foxtel (through the IQHD)
Before Foxtel install we had a fantastic sharp picture on all FTA channels.
We have had Foxtel techs out twice and they couldnt fault the installation and can see no reason for any picture quality reduction in FTA as they are totally different cables.
Its hard to explain to a tech the difference in quality as they have no term of referrence. They both said it looks pretty good to them but both myself and my wife know theres a big difference. The second tech told me he was a FTA specialist and that the quality i am seeing on the screen is a little reduced. He had a box of some sort he plugged into the wall which has a small screen on it. The quality looked sharp on his little screen (but then it was a small screen). He tried to blame the cable between wall and TV so we swapped that with another one i had and there was no difference. Then he tried to blame the TV which i know full well its not.
I have a 50 inch Panasonic Viera plasma and like i said before the Foxtel install we had a fantastic sharp picture on all FTA channels.
Its really frustrating and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas that may help

FTA through the TV and IQ are actually two completely separate sources (the IQ does not use your antenna signal, FTA is sent down the cable), which points away from them doing anything to the FTA system, which wouldnt/shouldnt have been touched (except perhaps RF passthrough - not familiar enough w/ IQs to know if they do RF modulation).
Most likely causes are:
1) Youve just noticed something thats always been there (Im not calling you crazy, but it happens).
2) Picture processing settings have been adjusted (by you, them, wife, kids, dog - on purpose or not) - turning on/off noise reduction, cinema mode, 100hz, and various other names for some of these and others settings can cause these artifacts.
3) If you've noticed it on NINE, GEM, GO. There may have been a slight drop in picture quality when eXtra started a few weeks ago. I live in a WIN broadcast area (ie. no eXtra, so I cant confirm or deny if PQ has dropped noticably).
4) You are watching analogue TV.

Turn off and disconnect the Foxtel box and check if the problem disappears.
If you are watching analogue FTA terrestrial, then there may be some slight interference issue.
The causes mentioned by nbound are all relevant... check to see if any changes have been made.
If your Foxtel box has the terrestrial antenna connected to it, then disconnect it and connect directly to the TV and check PQ again..
