Have you ever considered offering photographic services to Hi-Fi Magazines?

Yep, your pics are that good.

Tasteful simplicity. Nice to see you around too Mark.

Dust the top of that amp next time though! (I can clearly see 4 grains of dust!)

Good to see you make an appearance Mark ... still Stag?

Hi guys, and many thanks for the kind words. I still loiter round these parts, just keeping an eye on you lot!

Al - to be honest I am more than happy with the headphone pre performance of the Yammy, but Im not a prolific headphone user, so I'd be lying if I said I've done extensive side by side comparisons. Having said that, at least I have a couple of options in that regard!

Amateur photography has kept me busy over the last couple of years in terms of online time, but based on all your kind comments guys it seems it wasnt all in vain!
I have a few AV related projects in the works over the next few months, so will post a little bit more!

So I sold the bedroom gear but retained the XTZ speakers as it just wasnt getting the usage it deserved, and now running the Denon CEOL system in place:-

It's a two channel stereo system, so no interest in a sub. Plus its a bedroom system, so no space for a sub! Plus, and most importantly, those speakers DO NOT need a sub!

Nice, good to see honest systems without flashing lights and too many speakers.
