Returns to ONE this week. Moto2 and Moto3 on Ten only! Both live according to the EPG.

My EPG in Melbourne is showing all races on 10 in the early hours of Monday and the Masters golf on One HD, pity they are on at the same time.

Noticed that on my icetv guide, here in Canberra as well MotoGP1,2,3 all shown on SD on SCTen & what does One (HD) show Ifish/omnisport/bundesliga.The golf does not start till 04:00.
What a joke SCTen. If you cannot treat it decently hand it back to Foxtel....
& What is going to happen when F1 & MotoGp clash, I bet you F1 will get priority.... SCTen SD will get the bikes...

Disgusted,

Mark

I love my HD motorsport, wtf is Ten/One playing at here? It is on OneHD as delayed coverage Monday night, but live on  SD Ten??
This is ludicrous.

As expected PQ was very fuzzy, huge 10 logo splashed in the right hand corner of the screen & they could not be bothered showing the interviews as breakfast was more important. What a pile of crap.
Fast losing interest in Motogp coverage....

Fortunately, I've not yet heard the results and am recording the HD replay on ONE tonight. I'm assuming that CAsey didn't win as there was no mention of the race even on TEN news tonight but I'm looking forward to it.

Thankfully it was the full HD race tonight, pretty good race...Shame about the last 3 laps for Casey.
I hope ten/one doesn't make this a habit of doing sd live, HD later...
seeing the f1 promo stuff, they are saying "live on ten", this could be the end of HD live ?:(

PQ was much better than it had been with the golf. Where the Hell were the rider interviews? Was the problem with Caseys arm, the reason why he couldn't maintain his pace, or was it tyre wear? I guess we'll never know.
I'm glad I resisted the desire to watch the race, which I had recorded in SD (just in case).

Just checked the guide for next weekend, F1 quali on Saturday and the race on Sunday, both live on ONE.

Casey got arm pump a few laps in & his right arm muscles gave up with a few laps to go, hence his slower pace at the end. That's what was reported in motogp.com

Well... it's official. No more live MotoGP or F1 on ONE HD from this coming weekend. Instead, we'll get SD broadcasts on SC10 on Sunday nights 9.30pm. Will be live, but only if timezones are aligned and no clash between MotoGP and F1.

So, last season unfortunately represented the peak of MotoGP viewing in Aus. Sad.

What a bunch of wankers

Thank the heavens for torrents

:hyper:

Utter stupidity by 10, at least they could play it live on both if they want it presented to a larger audience and keep the pre and post race presentations on one

No F1 In HD and to top it off, delayed by 2 hours in Perth, Australia would have to be the most backwards going FTA in the world. Idiots with utter contempt for anyone.

Ten move irks motor racing fans and sponsors
THE Ten Network is at loggerheads with some sponsors and could be forced into reinstating live Formula One and MotoGP broadcasts to its digital channel One HD after a wave of fan anger.
Sponsors have raised concerns that markets, including Adelaide and Perth, where emerging F1 star Daniel Ricciardo's parents live, will be forced to view delayed telecasts because Ten has switched coverage to its main channel.
Unlike One, Ten broadcasts only in standard definition, after previously promoting the 2012 Formula One season as being "Live and in HD".
According to some advertisers, motorsport would be confined to Ten at 9.30pm on Sundays.
Hundreds of diehard fans have taken to social media, vowing to pirate race feeds online, using overseas file-sharing services.
Ten said last week that the move had been made for commercial reasons, but by Friday the network was refusing to comment further as the furore grew.

A Ten spokesman said advertisers were told weeks ago about the shift, but sponsors denied this.
According to one of the broadcast's biggest sponsors, Swisse Vitamins, which also supports Formula One driver Mark Webber, it was not aware of the move until contacted by Media on Friday.
"Swisse contacted Network Ten when we received a call from The Australian," a spokesman for the company said.
"We have been informed that it is only live on the east coast at this stage but that the network is looking at all options."
Shannon's Car Insurance, a division of Suncorp Metway, also denied it had been told several weeks ago, saying it had been contacted by Ten earlier last week.
"We have already passed on the concerns expressed by some enthusiasts directly to Channel Ten and will continue to review the situation, as we do with any sponsorship," Shannon executive manager of marketing Mark Behr said.
More than 650 people flooded Ten's Facebook page with complaints about the move, many threatening to use pirated live feeds of races from overseas.
Motorsport forums, and even Ten's Facebook page, have since been alive with viewers trading advice on how to source live F1 feeds on the internet.
TV networks are under increasing pressure over live and HD sport, with Rugby League fans attacking channel Nine on Friday for showing a delayed telecast of the Anzac Test match between Australia and New Zealand.
Ten has experienced a similar backlash from MotoGP fans.
Some angry fans called for F1 and MotoGP advertisers to boycott Ten and an online "boycott Ten" website is quickly gaining hundreds of signatures.
The network made the call to move the live broadcasts from its HD network to the main channel at 9.30pm on Sundays in a bid to boost audiences on its "Super Sunday" nights.

Predator 2 is a top movie! (All my movie viewings are on BD though, so won't be interested in watching it on crap FTA "HD").

But I'd rather see MotoGP in ordinary FTA HD!

I don't what has prompted it, or whether it's permanant, but MotoGP on the 8th of July, is LIVE on ONE at least via FOXTEL. I can't see that far ahead on the FTA EPG.
