FS Satch Max DAC

Reason for selling: Purchased allternative DAC

This is a TDA1541A based NOS DAC and was assembled / modified for me by Gordon / Ozcal. The mods include the removal of the input board (ie direct spidf via 2 paralled 150ohm takman resistors), addition of a third transformer and the addition of ampohm output caps and a couple of other changes.
As can be seen, the dac is fitted to a custom built jarrah case. Please note there is a minor blemish just above the power switch.
The dac includes a universal stereo tube output stage.

The output valve is a Tesla ECC88.

Nice looking unit, Gordon refurbed my TT and I can certainly vouch for the quality of his workmanship. Good luck with your sale.

Also, for any interested buyer, the OP is a great guy to deal with
..
And if you're in Perth, remember to be thick skinned and ask mbc nicely for some great coffee
...

No need for a thick skin myrantz, just need to hope that is a good pour and not a bad one
