Hi guys been a long time since ive watched Terminator 2 and i have to say it is still one of the best reference quality films out there. For a movie made 20 years ago it is unbelievable. Supurbly detailed audio and flawless picture. I honestly forgot how great this movie is. Anyways ive just finished watching it and i had to jump on and tell someone.

Ps. Not sure if supurbly is a word but it sounded good. Hahah

We watched  Contagion last night. Was in 16:9 and it looked stunning. I couldn't get over just how good this flick looked on the PJ. Good story as well.

Thanks for the heads up re T2 . Agree great flick but T1 was  my favorite AFA storyline goes.

hopefully we can just get back to what people have found stunning ! :)
Maybe it would be good to know what components people are watching the films on? A bit like what camera and lenses people use to take great photos. For instance what projector are you using?

I am a bit late in getting on this topic but the movie Thor which I watched the other day comes to mind and in 3D ;)

There are some stunning landscape shots particularly looking across the bridge/ocean/city scene projected onto 135". Sorry to mention the 3D thing again but it definitely added a lot of depth!

Watched Meet Joe Black last night. Great story and excellent acting from Brad Pitt with a superb picture, maybe to good. When Joe goes to bed with Susan the first time I could not take my eyes off the spot on her nose.
Highly recommended on Blu Ray

Take shelter

and

Never Let me go

both looked absolutely stunning ! on the big screen very impressive. Sit there just taking it in and picture quality really adds well to the over all experience :)

As mentioned earlier, all the BBC docs are great but found that Earthflight stands out as absolutely breathtaking with all the aerial photography.

Agree on Reign of Fire. Awesome CGI too.  Watched 'Battleship' last night on Bluray - while the story was just an hour and half long advert for the US Navy Recruitment Drive, the audio was bombastic! When the U.S.S Missouri fires her main guns.....watch out!!!
