Literally.
So what's with the rash of "container madness", "pawn stars", "raid your storage unit with a sub machine gun if necessary", "drag all the shyte out of your attic" shows?
I mean American Pickers was mildly entertaining, and the good old Pommy Antique shows have been great over the years, but the current trend of show after show after show seems OTT, especially on the new A&E channel. Is this the new Masterchef or something? What next, a series of shows on the ab roller? Actually we get that already.

Have to log off, there's a film crew sorting through my home brewery and trying to cart off my electric urn.... hey guys..........

I think Foxtel is for people who loves their sport, like me. I generally watch the sport channels, plus the odd news.

It really is over the top on the A&E channel. While we're at it whats with "dog the bounty hunter" and "operation repo" the most set up and over acted shows i've ever had the mispleasure of seeing.

Dog the bounty hunter
Why would anyone wanto showoff  open shirted  Bitch Tits & enlarged intestines, All this points to steroid & HGH abuse with minimum to know time spent in the Gym
He must think all  viewers were born yesterday & dont have any clue :hmm: . ....

My expectation is we will see lots more  ab roller series crap on A&E!!  = disappointing thus far... although Death road is slightly entertaining...

Starpics 2 is a waste of a HD channel

I quite like A&E, I never even knew shows such as 'Pawn Stars' and 'Storage Wars' existed and I don't mind them (which does surprise me a little, I reckon if I heard someone talking about them and I hadn't seen them I'd think they sounded like a load of rubbish!)

I dont have foxtel/austar but download alot of American "reality" shows.....they can be quite entertaining as long as u imagine them all being subtitled "only in America!"

No idea of their future programming but look out for :
Cajun Pawn Stars
Beyond Scared Straight
Hoarders
Ax Men
Bordertown: Laredo
The First 48
Cold Case Files
Shipping Wars
Bering Sea Gold
Gold Rush Alaska
US Drug Wars
Manhunters
Bait Car
Desert Car Kings
Drugs Inc
Alaska State Troopers
Hardcore Pawn
Forensic Files
Ragin Cajuns
Dirty Jobs
First Week In
Lockup
Full Throttle Saloon
Salvage Code Red
The Squad:Prison Police
Black Gold

Avoid Dog the Bounty Hunter......you may find you will want to punch the screen :hyper:

I think the whole movie network bundle is poor, the footy channel and Eddie McGuire is enough for me to kick foxtel into touch

i record american pickers and storage wars. i simply fast forward most of the show as i'm only interested in what they find and if they take things to an expert for a valuation.
i'm not interested in the personal relationships of the 'pickers.'
i'm sure a lot of their lines are scripted. there is a woman on storage wars who i'm sure was told to be as negative as possible about whatever her husband buys. just complain about his poor judgement and how all the stuff is crap and we won't make any money at all.

the best thing about foxtel is the fast forward button on the remote. its rare for me to watch any show 'live' anymore. if i do, i find it annoying to be honest.
