It's probably only 5.0 because it's 100% upmixed from 2 channel stereo, making the 0.1 (LFE) channel superfluous. If TEN wanted to broadcast real 5.1, the 0.1 channel might come back.
Still, I get your point. There's no reason the 0.1 LFE channel couldn't be there, but just contain silence for the time being until real 5.1 content comes along.

craig its like the BS fake upscaling. rather than actual HD. the networks have done dd5.1. so they can, why instead they rob us of that is beyond understanding for me. is the drip feed bit rate so desperate for bandwidth they cant even give us audio as it should be ? yeesh
