Yes thats obvious, but to suggest that a FALD LCD is in the same class as a high end Plasma is crazy, it just isn't and likely never will be.
I've have had very good offers to buy my boxed 65VT60 but rejected them as I wasn't interested in selling and still aren't because there is no TV on the Australian market I would want in its place. Its been out of the box and in use for more than a year now because the Sony SXRD got written off. Good think I just happened to have a new 65" Plasma as a backup.
Haven't fond any of those "inherent plasma problems either", unless stellar image quality is a problem.
I get lost around about the sentence of zooming a scope image to fit a scope screen!why would I have to zoom a scope image if my screen is already scope?wouldnt you just have the projector set to show a scope size picture onto the screen automatically ?sorry for noob query !!
