When i tested the Samsung 9 what i saw was horrible deviations in colour down either side of the screen while my Samsung F8500 plasma has a perfectly consistent image all the way to the edge. This effect is caused by the edge lighting used to give you those lovely thin bezels but at a cost to the image.I bought the Samsung KU6000 because the cheaper model actually has less backlight issues than the high end version and all for half the price.I might have payed double the price if it didn't have those flaws but it does so as they say in the outlaw jose wales "don't p!ss down our back and tell us it's raining" because in the end the Samsung 9 series is what it is,an LCD.
