It seems to be a common problem, try the following:
NETWORK Chip only reboot (settings retained)
1 - With the AVR powered ON, select "Online Music" as the input source.
2 - Simultaneously press/hold the: S710W/S910W/X1200W/X2200W/X3200W - "TUNER PRESET CH + / TUNER PRESET CH -" ; X4200W/6200W - "DIMMER+SETUP" buttons on the front panel
3 - Hold the buttons for a few seconds until the display reads "Network Restart" and then release the buttons.
Should have picked up on that straight away, he shoots a pine tree and Twin Pines shopping mall in the future becomes Lone Pine. Only have the box set on DVD. Was going to watch it yesterday as it was Back To The Future day but was camped out in the RV.
Have had the new sub fired up but still haven't programmed the DSP yet.
Thanks Mate ,
My set up is not ideal either as surrounds are all in ceiling but there has to be some sort of compromise I guess. I got all my HT knowledge from you smart folks. Thanks to all.
Hoping someone else might have experienced the issue I'm having streaming music to my Denon X2200 via Airplay and iTunes. Quite often the Denon stops playing to the point where the only way I can get my music to resume is to turn it off an on and select some different music. I also have a Samsung speaker with Airplay and it doesn't appear to be as problematic. The only theory I have at the moment is that the Denon doesn't handle certain characters.
For example, everything was going along fine today until Escape (The Piña Colada Song) started playing (don't judge me ok). All I heard was a blip and then nothing. No amount of disconnecting the Denon from airplay via iTunes would fix it yet the song kept on playing on the Samsung speaker.
Not interested in trying Spotify or other streaming services but am keen to know if anyone else has been seeing similar with their Denon and streaming via Airplay.
