Jb and Harvey don't even stock decent hifi gear. They pretty much sell bottom end sony avr along with a few other brands. Amazon in the states do sell higher end gear but i dont know how much cheaper it is than with the local dealers over there. If anything hopefully amazon AUS brings down our dealer prices on more of the higher end gear. Here's hoping.
By Hotels I mean Pubs.
The 4 modulators are SD digital one of which is a dual composite to SD digital.
They are to put 3 fox decoders on as channels , the fourth ,a dual composite does Keno and a PC that does music video.
The FTA and the output of a Sky decoder (horse racing off a dish) are also mixed with the modulators
The FTA has a mast head amp and an attenuator as level is too high from the mast head amp.
Signal levels of Digital channels should be Min 50dBuV, preferred 53dBuV or greater and Max 74dBuV at each outlet.
I'm just wondering what's a good level to have all the signals combined at. (I guess a level that wont overdrive the main Amp/s
I'm thinking to get the FTA between 53dBuV and 74dBuV (as the FTA channels are varying in dBuV by 10 )before the amp and then mix the modulators at say 65dBuV
Thanks again for your input
We installed a 20,000 ANSI lumens projector for an outdoor pool area it was a high end house and the projector was expensive, https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-PT-DS20KU-projector-lumens/dp/B00BSYSWLQ
It was put into an outdoor housing to prevent theft, bearing in mind the damn projector cost Australian $78,523! The projector enclosure was from ProEnc I think! If you have the money to burn, you will...
We did an outdoor set up for work at a wedding venue and we used the Benq projector http://www.benq.com.au/product/projector/w7500/ and a weatherproof housing to cool the darn projector from ProEnc.
It worked well and would work even better with the Optoma projector.
Good luck and wish you well.
