    • Harry, Unless you watch West TV on channel 44, buy an antenna which is for band 3 VHF only, then all the antenna will be used to receive your programs. Many installers use VHF/UHF ones and half the antenna will go unused.   Alanh
    • Some VHF Antennas have a bad problem with roll off at the bottom end of the band. The performance was not that good. As it seems that you only have problems with Channel 7 (VHF Ch.6) I would say that the antenna performance at this frequency is bad. As you have said, try a new antenna, I think this will fix your problem.
    • Thanks. I think it is the antenna as I have had it for well before we all went digital. All other cabling, connectors sockets, masthead amp etc are all fairly recent after a house renovation. I will replace it. Initially I did think that CH7  was doing something in preparation for its multi channel Olympic coverage. Will let you know if the new antenna fixes the problem.
    • Superb speaker system with wide sound stage and excellent stereo imaging. Versatile system, great for home theatre and music. Demonstration available at Chester Hill NSW. Serious buyers only please. System comprises of: 2 x Mordaunt Short Avant 908 Floorstanding Speakers - RRP $1,799.00 2 x Mordaunt Short Avant 903i Bipole Surround Speakers - RRP $599.00 1 x Mordaunt Short Avant 905i Centre Speaker - RRP $499.00 Total System RRP $2,897.00 ** NOTES ** There is a small dent on the right hand upper corner of the left floorstanding speaker which occured during transport. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance in any way. This is also barely visible when the front speaker grille is in place. The floorstanding speakers are the 908 series, not 908i. These are identical in design and virtually indistinguishable in regards to performance (some minor tuning differences). However, the price is very close to what I am looking for. Selling for $1,200.00 ONO.
