lag.. the sony easily wins lag with that level pj.. from my readings
i have a benq w1070.. and it is around 34 ms ( this of course is dependant on what test they use ) but it is regarded as good (the sony is about 26ms. so i think the w1110 from memeory is about 42ms.. as long as under 60ms should be all ok. remember lag is affected by your internet speed, server, modem etc etc oh and your own skills :-)
I agree with keeping the chimney for the case of resale but it would help with the room layout.
It's not for everyone but I have double solid timber bifold doors into my room, with the size of your door frame, you could do similar and have them opening out; it takes up less space and cuts out most of the sound however, they don't quite seal at the top, fortunately mine open to the entry area where I have solid timber doors to the next room as well.
Thanks Alanh, can you please tell me where this comes from? (rise by 8dB) ,, just for my education
I was hoping to attenuate channels prior to the combiner as the 4 modualators have software controlled output, and the FTA has an attenuator already.. can this be done this way.
I like the idea of measuring the BER prior to the combining.
