Not to mention another little gem called Gladiator  ^_^
Na, thought very little of it. Like most of the Scott Bros films they are (of late) style over substance.

Anyway, a few more films to keep an eye out for:
21 Jump St
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Dark Shadows
The Great Gatsby
Taken 2
Resident Evil 5
Rock Of Ages

However, the award for the best named film of the year goes to: Piranha 3DD

If you ask me, the list of 2012 mainstream releases is utterly depressing.

Kubrick is dead.
Fincher has done a remake.
Ridley Scott has done a prequel.
James Bond reboot died with QUANTUM OF COMMON SENSE.
Scorcese has done a 3D kids movie.
Spielberg wasted his time on TINTIN.
HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 was banned then censored for Aussie release.
THE HOBBIT is only part 1.
THE DARK KNIGHT was crap.
CLASH OF THE TITANS was dull.
THE BOURNE LEGACY won't have Matt Damon
SPIDERMAN is a reboot for emos/tweens.

Only JOHN CARTER (OF MARS) interests me this year, but I expect it to be yet another Hollywood cash-in / franchise float.

Least of all, the studios that are hell-bent on doing whatever it takes to keep their business afloat.

What is the point of a Spider-Man reboot ? The last film was not so long ago and the story hadn't progressed beyond a twenty-year-old Peter Parker. Ditto for the Hulk (rebooted soon after Ang Lee's bore-fest) and the Superman reboot (Man of Steel to replace the dull Superman Returns).

I wouldn't be surprised if we will see a Harry Potter reboot in 2014.

Ah! Grammar/punctuation, it's the difference between "Helping Uncle Jack, off a horse" and "Helping uncle, jack off a horse".

Tee Hee ^_^

I guess it's a case of taking the list for what it is. It was never meant as a device to discuss quality/quantity/taste *shrugs*.

Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head to see these movies or buy them on BD upon their release....
