Hi all,

My Foxtel iqHD multi-room has only one program to be recorded, but it is showing only 59% space remaining in the planner.

Am I missing something?

how many have you recorded? and do you have rewind enabled?

would help if you had some pics. my IQ2 sometimes has about 8-10% extra used that is hidden, when my box goes under 10% it comes back. some glitch ive had for the last month or so.

The planner is empty except for the program that is to be recorded..

Rewind is disabled.

I would be inclined to call Foxtel, have them format the drive and force a firmware update.

I unplugged it from the power point for 10 minutes and then restarted the box, same result.

Will probably give Foxtel a call, athough it is only a second box and don't use it much for recording, it should have more than 59% free.

I repeat, call FOXTEL, have them format the hard drive and force a firmware upgrade.

Try this.

Press active button and then select setup. Go into Advanced Settings.

You should only have 5 options. Enter 0611 on the remote then press select which will take you into a hidden menu. Select option 4 Full System Reset. That will format the hard drive and delete everything including scheduled recordings.

I've had similar problems in the past and this is where they guided me to.

Thanks JB, that worked a treat.

Will keep this "cheat sheet" for further reference.

Not a problem, glad it worked.
