If your a Killer's fan, I bought Brandon Flower's (lead singer from Killers) solo album Flamingo as a blind buy and have been playing it heavily over the last week and would recommend it

I chucked on Pearl Jam's Vitalogy the other night. Sounded awesome thru the Sennheisers and Emotiva gear.

Nothingman is an incredible song!!!

Sitting outside and listening to...The orb "The Orb's adventures beyond the underworld"
Sitting in the sweet spot speakers on the wall, like a big set of headphones.

Midnight Oil- Best of Both Worlds DVD. The one with the concert on Goat Island. Absolutely brilliant on my new Oppo 83.
I had forgotten how good they really were.

Yup got the Genius Loves Company... That made me want to go look for Willie Nelson next time..
Interesting thing about this track, at least on my CD...The Willie Nelson one, track 7, It's A very good year..

About 2:35 in, around the 35 year old mark... Seems like somebody was sneezing??? Not sure if that's a problem with my disc, or in the mastering process. Probably not a sneeze, but it doesn't sound natural...

And seems this has a SACD version.... :/ Anybody has the SACD version? How good is it when compared to the normal CD?

Mrs MM is out for a couple of hours, the kids are in bed, I'm listening to...

... glorious, glorious silence.

But maybe it's time for some mucus (as little Miss MM calls it...). Some more Alison Sudol I think.

Currently listening to the excellent new Ben Folds album Lonely Avenue from http://benfolds.com/lonelyavenue vinyl package. I have only downloaded the mp3's so far while I await the vinly 180g and the CD. Really enjoying the album and feel it will only get better when the CD and LP arrive.

Great price $23.99 delivered from the US considered the CD is selling for $23.99 at JB Hifi, recommend the album to any fans and thought the following might tickle the interest of the vinyl crowd here in regards to the recording process

"With vinyl in mind, Lonely Avenue was recorded on 2-inch tape and is available on 180-gram, audiophile-grade vinyl, cut at Bernie Grundman Studios and pressed at Record Technology, Inc. The LP also contains the complete album on CD and a four-page color booklet. Orders include downloads of the album as high-quality, 320-kbps MP3s."

Just found the new Santana album, Guitar Heaven online. Just lietening on the PC for the minute. Thinking about buying the album on iTunes, but will def get the CD next week. Is getting some mixed reviews. Huge Santana fan here, so can't go wrong. A couple of tracks sounded OK. Interesting to hear his slant on classics like "Whole Lotta Love" and "Smoke on the Water". Time will tell if it's as good as most of his stuff.
