just got the February foxtel mag.

FX programs for the first few days include.

Launch day Feb 26.
8:30 The walking dead Pilot 90 min episode. moves to tuesdays in back to back episodes

Sundays 10PM Hell on Wheels
Mondays 8:30 Justified

other programs include NYPD blue, Las Vegas, dark Angel, Rescue me, the Shield, Alias and Marshal Law.

did the magazine give the channel numbers for hd/sd for fx and what is fashion channels new number

Both SD and HD on 123. but the channel list on pag 15 has both FX and Fashion TV on 123, so one will move

Bugger. It's on at the same time as Jericho and the Vampire Diaries. Looks like I will need to rearrange my planner to fit everything in.

Has anyone seen any ads for FX yet? I've seen lots for FOX Footy and A&E, but none for FX.

Probably because FX is a part of the basic package, they won't people to open their wallets to get A&E and Fox Footy

I've seen ads for FX on Austar.  Of course, in small writing down the bottom it says "Not available to Austar customers."

fashion tv will no longer be carried by foxtel from 26th of febuary as i received an email today with that imformation in it

I am not able to find the FX channel on the Foxtel tv guide (online) as i wanted to do a remote record of the Walking Dead. I understand the channel has not gone live yet but i would have thought there would have been a way of setting up the record feature for it? or do i have to wait till it is actually on foxtel itself?

A&E didn't show up in the online guide until the day it was starting, I imagine FX will be the same although it's taking over from Fashion TV so who knows how they'll do it

Record and watch 'Justified' on Monday too. Pretty good show.

"FX AUSTRALIA Channel 123 will switch over to FX at 6am on 26.2.12 and you'll be able to use the 'Record me' function from 8.30pm onwards"

looking at the March Foxtel Magazine there are some cool shows on FX. Arrested Development, Penn and Teller Bullshit, Life on Mars (Was on W a few months back) Shield, Alias, Rescue Me.

there also is a Walking Marathon with all  season 1 episodes on March 18.

i hope they can add some hore FX shows like the League, American Horror Story, Archer.

Often the 'new' channels are crap and just show stuff that has already been on other channels, both FX and A&E look to be pretty good with a fair few new shows on them.

would love it if they have Arrested Development in HD, but shows like The Shield, Life on Mars, Rescue me. were all on W at some point last year, so hope that gives more room for new shows on W also

i doubt it, if we do they will be a few years old because Showime and Movie network have contracts with the movie distributors rather than bidding on titles like the US does

showtime have rights to HBO movies, most go strait to showcase.

Justified is a good show, thanks for the heads up. Been watching that and Walking dead. There was hell on wheels and that Fitz show but i havent tried either of them yet. Any other recommendations? When will breaking bad come back from s:1? its up to s4 on showcase but i havent watched any of the eps so want to start from S1.
