Great to see the footy in HD from G town on Saturday...shame about the result, but thats the beauty of the nab cup - it's only a glorified practice match! :D

I was at the game and took a photo of the HD truck (HD 8) to post here, but couldn't figure out how to do it!

'HD1' was in Ballarat, you could see it parked right next to the oval...there's something wrong with its audio though, 10 sec delay!

G'day,

Seven had their own commentary, but used Fox footy's graphics that they supply without having the Fox Footy logo present

Seven used their own graphics at odd times also

So, what everyone has been waiting for - to see what signal Fox Footy will broadcast come saturday night

IMO, this is the worst move Ch7 has ever made

Also - McD, Ch7 used to use their own graphics (and presenter) at certain times when they used to broadcast the Sunday afternoon Fox Sports games up North

Don't know if anyone caught Footy Classified the other night - Garry Lyon took aim at Se7ven during "good call bad call" saying how much better the NAB cup grand final looked in HD...how the difference between the two broadcasts was "stark" and that Se7en have given fox a massive free kick!

We all know he's right...although its easy to pot the opposition when you don't have the rights...and one imagines if nein did have them, it would be exactly the same story!

God, how good would it be if 7 actually do shoot their matches in HD...not long now til we find out!

G'day DansDans,

Interesting, but was it like Saturday night? I think the graphics were all left to Fox Sports except for a full screen graphic from Seven at Quarter/Half/Three Quarter Time

It might be the same for outside Victoria this year but the NAB Cup Grand Final seemed like Seven could go to another camera (their own perhaps?) at times, no Fox graphics at all and during the play, so I think there was more that Seven could do, than they would normally be allowed

Still annoyed with SD vision from perth on 7mate on Prime
