Yep I'd have to agree mate Prometheus has me very excited with The Dark Knight Rises very close behind.

Whilst all of the trailers can be seen in one form or another via Apple Trailers, Australian IGN has most of them conveniently listed on one page.

I'm looking forward to Red Tails, no release date outside the US or Canada yet but the trailer looks fantastic, authentic late war BF109s, ME 262s, B17s and P51s.

Completely forgot about Skyfall! Can't wait for that either. Been missing a good Bond film and Daniel Craig is excellent B)

Just watched the trailer for Red Tails - Godamn how good does that look?!

If the BD is anything like Pearl Harbour this could be a reference disk.

Some of the best WWII fighters all in one movie. Very cool pickup mate.

Absolutely! Along with The Dark Knight Rises & Bond Skyfall. 2011 sucked in my books. Hopefully 2012 will be much better.

Excellent list!
Am I allowed to add Titanic and Phantom Menace in 3D (even though they're rehashes)?

Sigh, what isn't (for the most part) a rehash anyway?*
*includes sequel, prequel, reboot and re-imagining

With absolutely no disrespect to any of the contributors on this topic, much like in 2011 there is very little I'm looking forward to seeing in 2012 (TDK, TCITW and The Hobbit aside).

I am also intrigued as to how Prometheus turns out as, IMHO, Ridley Scott has been resting making ordinary films for a while now. I think that Thelma and Louise and Black Rain were the last films of his I enjoyed and that was 20 years ago...

Sound and effects wise though, this list cant be beaten. :)

For me it's the other way around. 2011 had a lot of movies I looked forward to, 2012 only has 5

Think you might have missed a little gem called Black Hawk Down and personally thought Black Rain was a very weak effort given the potential it had......

sorry for the OT guys, can argue all day about remakes and rehashes and am just as disappointed as anyone about the lack of originality but as long as they make a good fist of them then that is what we have on offer, nothing more, nothing less.........

am not sure on release date but next instalments in the Fast and Furious franchise are rumoured being done over two movies (another fresh idea  ) with Jason Statham added to the cast ..............
