I just picked up the new "Value Pack" Star Trek Blu-ray...

Please note that this edition is falsely advertised and incorrectly labelled...

Those of you (like me) who might be excited at a release with a DTS MA track as stated on the back cover will be disappointed to discover the audio track is no where to be found on the disc. Instead there is the 5.1 Dolby TrueHD track, which funny enough is NOT labelled!

Nice way to get more sales Paramount!

Can you put those details in the thread in my signature, McAudio. & with region/country of release info also? We've made a list of a few BD titles with errors like this so people can be sure of what they're getting.

On the audio, DolbyTHD shouldn't make any difference. Still uncompressed.

"Leonard Nimoy, the actor, poet, photographer and artist, has died. He was 83.

Of all his endeavours, acting was undoubtedly the most successful. And of all his roles, one stood out, head, shoulders and pointed ears above the rest: that of Mr Spock, the half-human, half-Vulcan first officer of the USS Enterprise in Star Trek."

RIP Leonard Nimoy... your memory will live long and prosper always. An icon to me... sad.png

I watched Star Trek this morning when I heard the news. I truly enjoy that movie. Both Spocks, new and old, play the part so very well.
RIP

He entertained generations of sci-fi and Trekkie fans. He will certainly be missed.

This is brilliant.
