Its been a while since I watched a movie; watched TMNT with kids on the weekend and was nicely surprised by the bass as I had just not given it any thought.

There is a quite low wave part where Donnie flips a vehicle.

I'd kind of forgotten how much I love the subs, lol

I am legend. the ford mustang scene at the beginning.

Baraka, some great bass stuff on that disc - the oil fields and airplane graveyard scenes.

I watched I am Legend over the weekend and absolutely loved that scene. I thought the atmosphere of that film was so well done, one of my favourites

Watched Furi Last night. One of the tank fights has some of the best LFE I have heard. Enjoyed the movie too.

Would love to see this, it seems like more and more big blockbusters are failing at the cinema:

Unstoppable

Budget:  $100,000,000 (estimated)
Opening Weekend:  £1,714,871 (UK) (26 November 2010)
Gross:  $81,557,479 (USA) (4 March 2011)

I suppose they can't always win big, but usually the bigger the risk the better the pay off.

LOVE Sunshine! It's a serious rumbler!  (Had to move the sub because of the effects in this one - the timber blinds couldn't handle it!).

----

Jet Li's Hero had a scene where a bunch of bookshelves collapse & the bass was pretty decent there too.

Thats for sure, I absolutely love the feel of this film, the scenes are just awesome. I love the scanner bots, they have a particularly haunting "horn" sound to them.

Which scene in particular had the best bass? I'm guessing the train scene hahaha :)

The entire movie had lots of rumbling going on at various scenes but yes the train moved some air!!

Enders Game which I already mentioned too.

And Fury was brilliant with the shells popping all over.

Will have to watch SPR once again I think now I'm running up to speed.

We'll see Jutta...last one was filtered at 25hz....not bad though...but it wasnt as bass heavy as what it should of been.

I think they learned from there mistakes though..............they went with Cinema scope for this movie......rather than 16:9 :)

It had some scenes that went super low at my cinema. I actually thought to myself I've never 'felt' that before

Yeah there definetly much more bass scenes than the last movie. Mostly 30hz rumbles though...cinemas dont really produce any bass below 30hz from what I remember.
