For the first time in a long time I managed to get some hours into gaming and actually managed to finish Mass Effect 2. Whooooop. I am so far behind right now.

I still have the DLC for Red Dead and GTA iV to start and Dragon Age (1 not 2) just arrived. I've barely scratched the surface of inFamous and LBP (again 1, not 2).

And on the shelf I have:
COD:BlOps
Battlefield BC2
Bioshock 2
Enslaved
Just Cause 2
Red Faction: Guerrilla

.... just off the top of my head.

And then I look at the list of current or recently released games and I just wonder where the hell I'm going to find the time.

So what is everyone playing? What's still on the shelf waiting?

Played/finished Homefront the other day, just single player. It only took 2 modest sessions of gaming to finish and was very underwhelming.

Traded Homefront, Crackdown 2 (enjoyable) and Assassins Creed Brotherhood (very very enjoyable) and picked up Crysis 2 yesterday arvo and gave it a 30 minute burn last night, and so far, it looks a real winner - stunning graphics. Only played it on the 42" in the family room/kitchen, so I cant wait to throw it in the projector room later.

Got plenty of games in the waiting, including RDR, GP 2010, finishing all races on Forza 3, Saints Row 2 (had that unplayed on the shelf for well over a year now).

And this is with some pretty solid games on the horizon too.

Currently grinding GT5, I would no longer call it playing. A great game with some serious flaws.

Finished ME2 last week but will buy the new arrival content.

Right now playing:
Battlefield BC2 (finally local servers for Oz = awesome)

On the shelf:
Assassins Creed 2
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Alan Wake
Fight Night Champion
Crysis 2
Castlevania: Lord of Shadows
NFS: Hot Pursuit 2

Have a huge backlog so I'm aiming to complete one SP title a month if I can.

Also just got my new turtle beach PX5 headset from US & have to say it's amazing. Have owned several models and this one takes the prize. :)

Playing Batman Arkham Asylum at the moment which is good fun but took an hour or two to get into. I tend not to buy many new releases now - usually wait for a few months uintil I can get titles for about $40.

Waiting on my shelf are:

Fable 2
GTA IV tales from liberty city (completed GTA IV already)

Next to buy:

Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Arrival DLC for ME2

And what did you think of them?

I am the fussiest gamer on Earth. I have the attention span of a nat and if a game doesn't grab me in the first 30 mins back it goes. Those games listed have thus far kept my interest for quite a while as being the worst gamer on Earth also it takes me forever to finish anything.

KZ3 went back recently as it was a boring generic, albeit pretty, FPS.

The demo for KZ3 was absolutely chock full of cliche'd crap (in gameplay & characters). It cringed away all interest.............not that I was going to buy it anyway. Just wanted to check out how far that praised series had come.........apparently not far at all (in SP anyway. MP may be fun, but I don't play FPS on consoles, so not interested in that aspect of the game)..

I felt the same way about COD:BlOps and, to some extent, Halo: Reach. I'll get around to finishing them one day. Probably.

Never played KZ1 or 2 so not feeling much need to play 3.

Next up I think I'll give Dragon Age a go and some of the DLC for ME2. Feeling a lot of love for Bioware at them moment.

Fable 2

I absolutely LOVE this game. It's like comfort food for me. I've played it at least 6 times from start to finish and I kid you not I always find something new that I hadn't discovered previously.

I was so gutted when three came out as it is an abysmal attempt to recapture the fun and character of two, but unfortunately failed miserably. I liked the fact that they tried different things but it just didn't work for me.

Just finishing off AC Brotherhood. It's taking forever to complete every side quest and collect everything...but it's a good forever!

Then will be moving on to Fable III and Crysis 2 that are waiting unopened in the Billy bookcase.

Really looking forward to LA Noire, Portal 2 and Dungeon Siege 3 in the next few months. Then it will be Infamous 2 which will be a day one purchase/play for me in early June. That's of course assuming none of these dates slip.

2011 is going to be such a super year for gamers.

I recently sold Black Ops. I just couldn't get into it. I have been playing Modern Warfare 2 online a bit more recently.

Still have to finish:

GT5
Uncharted 2
Heavy Rain (borrowed)
God of War 3
Killzone 3 (I am waiting until the new gun accessory is released, 31st march) Sharp Shooter as I have the motion control set up.

Got started on Dragon Age last night. Much like ME 1&2, its taking me a little while to get involved in the story. Looking forward to the point where it really clicks for me.

How do you get time ajm? Between work, home chores, family, I find playing any games is almost non existant. I bought a few for my PS3, actually did finish Red Dead Redemption, Heavy Rain and one or two others, but find now I haven't turned on the PS3 execpt to watch one movie in bed (as it is now in the bedroom) since Christmas.
