Hi, I'm getting Foxtel installed tomorrow..just a standard digital box (not the IQ thing)

What connections will the Foxtel installer want to use? What is available via the standard box.

I get the impression it is SCART to Composite (RCA)..or do they also supply a SCART to component or S Video lead as well (or as an option)

If we want to use a higher spec connection like Component do we have to supply this ourselves or do they do this for us?

The installer should supply SCART to Component if the TV has the inputs. If not a SCART to S-Video or a SCART to SCART would be used over a SCART to Composite.

You will have to supply your own higher specification cabling & install them yourself generally.

Also the installers generally won't connect to theatre systems or supply the cabling required as well.
