Hi all,

Considering upgrading the WDTV Live streaming to something a little more shmick and have seen the Mygica and Minix players about. Anyone have any opinions/own them and shed some light on reliability, performance, etc? How fast do these units boot up, plus can anyone advise if they support ful HD audio playback(assume via Kodi as the media player) as ive read varying reports.

Any opinions would be grwatly appreciated.

I have older versions of both.

They seem to be reliable, but you need a faster download speed than I usually get.

Look for the one with a fast chip and most RAM for buffering.

I am using Open Hour Chameleon from Cloud Media.

Personally, i like the brilliant idea of booting the device with different OS by changing the SD card on the device.

I have few SD card with different OS, Linus, Android, for gaming, for movies...etc

Its really convenience.

You may consider on this and have a look on the details as below:

There are latest release on the Digital Signage features on Open Hour Chameleon.

You just need to install an app of Digital Signage in the Open Hour Chameleon.

The multifunction of this device is really worth for my money.

My friend have tested this feature in his cafe by displaying all his menu and photo of the dishes. :hyper:
