Looking at two pairs of 8" in ceiling speakers for my 7.1 setup
running ATS-5 fronts, cc-240 centre, two svs pb-12nsd subs and just need to get the rears and mid rears sorted.
looking at yamaha NS-IC800 at the moment, http://au.yamaha.com...al/speaker-syst ems/inwall-inceiling-speakers/ns-ic800___g/?mode=model
but just gaining opinions if there is someting else i should be looking at?

Only because I have them. Maybe consider Gallo Adivas. They are an orb style speaker but can be placed in ceiling. I love mine as rear surrounds ( also lcr). Once in the ceiling bracket can be adjusted to get the right direction from surround sounds.

I have the 6" Yamaha in ceilings and I'm very happy with them. They sit nice and flush, and the tweeter is adjustable to point to listening positions. Spray painted mine black, you can't even see them unless the lights are on ;)
