Just announced big multi format deluxe set with vinyls, blu-ray etc.

http://www.divisionbell20.com

I really only want the 5.1 hires blu-ray so not worth the 120USD pre-order. It's a shame the record company doesn't understand the market. Why would I buy vinyls to just to get the blu-ray. Well, I won't!

Sounds good to me. I've got no idea what they'ed be worth:

The Division Bell 20th Anniversary collector's box set will feature:

A new 2-LP vinyl edition of the album, remastered by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab from the original analogue tapes, including all the full length tracks (originally edited to fit on a single LP) in a gatefold sleeve designed by Hipgnosis/StormStudios.

Five other discs are included:
A red 7" vinyl replica of single Take It Back
A clear 7" vinyl replica of High Hopes
A12" blue vinyl replica of High Hopes with reverse laser etched design,
the 2011 Discovery remaster of 'The Division Bell' (CD)

A Blu-ray disc including 'The Division Bell' album in HD Audio, plus the previously unreleased 5.1 surround sound audio mix of the album by Andy Jackson.

I just want the Blu-ray Disc, I want to off-load the box and all other contents.

There's now a standalone 5.1 DVD available for pre-order at pinkfloyd.com. Cost me about $21 USD including shipping from US.

It's not on Amazon yet and no mention of whether the disc is DVD-A or if codec is DTS etc. Here's hoping... This will keep me going until the BD is affordable.

A member of QuadQuad forums says he's been told from PinkFloyd.com the DVD is 5.1 DTS!

First review of the set here: http://www.brain-dam...und-mix-bl.html

Apparently shipping of the box sets have started but the 5.1 DVD shipping has been delayed a couple weeks.

I have a MUSE 5.1 DVD from one of their Ltd Ed Releases and it's quite a treat. I'm sure the Pink Floyd one will be pretty darn good too.

Rave reviews trickling in. The surround mix is more adventurous than than James Guthrie's mixed immersion sets (Dark Side OTM & WYWH). The Division Bell surround was mixed by Andy Jackson who also did David Gilmour's On An Island album surround mix.

There are a few DVD shipments but still waiting on more stock. I received a shipping delay notification on the DVD too.

I'm damn tempted to go for the blu-ray immersion set....

I have now listened to The Division Bell 5.1 release and it is sensational! Sounds like a different album to the stereo version. So much going on and quite discrete use of the multi channels. Not a lot from the centre, so a bit 'quad like' which I like. Highly Recommended.

Is the Blu ray available anywhere separately?

Amazon seems to have the best price for the box set.

The blu is not available as a stand-alone disc. It's only in the Immersion Box Set. No Pink Floyd blu-ray discs from past Immersions have been released as stand-alone either.
