The only local programs they'll get are win and prime news on 408 and 419. To get more local programs would requirex an antenna and a receivable signal

The VAST signal in eastern australia has the following networks,

ABC, SBS, Southern Cross (7 affiliate), Imparja (9 affiliate) and TEN including the supplementary programs. In addition Southern Cross and Prime7 Victorian updates and WIN Ballarat using channels 410, 419, 408. These bulletins are not continous.

I should also add that virtually all ABC local radio studios, along with all programs on digital radio for ABC and SBS and many Aboriginal radio stations are also available by pressing the radio button.

Hi Chris,

Impaja WIN has ch9 programming press 9 for main channel, 99 for GO and 90 for GEM.As you seem to have found pressing 4 brings up the news menu and press the appropriate number code for the area of the news and network you want to watch, usually a recording adds and all of the news one hour later than on normal

local channels, in Tas the 6pm news at 7pm on VAST.

Cheers Tazzy

WIN has nothing to do with Imparja except that they are both affiliates of the nine network. The only WIN programming is from the special news repeat channels. ie channel 408.

LCNs are the same as for capital cities ie 1 for TEN network programs, 2 for ABC, 3 for SBS, 7 for Southern Cross and 9 for Imparja.

The Imparja advertising is mainly centred on Alice Springs and outback Qld for the SD channels on the Northern footprint and some GEM advertising. Southern footprint SD channels cover inland SA, NSW and little bits of Vic and Tas.
