The only local programs they'll get are win and prime news on 408 and 419. To get more local programs would requirex an antenna and a receivable signal

The VAST signal in eastern australia has the following networks,

ABC, SBS, Southern Cross (7 affiliate), Imparja (9 affiliate) and TEN including the supplementary programs. In addition Southern Cross and Prime7 Victorian updates and WIN Ballarat using channels 410, 419, 408. These bulletins are not continous.

I should also add that virtually all ABC local radio studios, along with all programs on digital radio for ABC and SBS and many Aboriginal radio stations are also available by pressing the radio button.
