Well I was looking at a hc3800 that a guy on here had for $750 but it got broke before he could send it, so then ano guy on here had a hc7000 that he was going to upgrade to 3D but sounded like he wasn't going to go 3D now. He though it would be worth about $1000.
Is the 7000 too different from the 6800 to work together?

They are essentially the same, but have differencing lumen outputs due to the added image processing on the HC7000

Perhaps your son might sell his Sands?

Well he likes the PJ of course but the room he has it in now he can't fill a 120" screen so he was talking about what would have a shorter throw distance. What Browny wants to do for 3D sounds intriguing and obviously you need two of the same. I suppose two simular bulb hours too.??

Calibration should be able to account for differing bulbs

No maybe I'm getting confused, I've been busy sorting stuff and getting ready for a trip to SA.
I will see if my other son will sell his hc6800 to Greg and look at yours. The other son is on about 3D now. I supose the throw distance is the same on the 7000 and the 6800.
