My Pioneer Kuro has started to play up (switches off when changing inputs and need 10-15 mins to think about it!), so with a LOT of encouragement from the missus (we get married in 3 weeks), we present our new TV, the 79" Sony X9000 UHD 4K TV, wall mounted:-

My Panasonic does the same thing...not worth getting repaired.

TV looks brilliant though presume that is just a 4k demo picture shown. How much better is it compared to the kuro overall.

P.S. nice TVs to have with a 2 Channel Audio System bet the HT room is impressive.  :phone:

My LX608 is on its way out I am holding out until the flat Oled 65" 4k becomes available at a reasonable price (from predictions banded of 11k) still a few grand to drop to get to Kuro 2008 prices. :ike:

I'll probably put it in the bedroom and replace the Sony 40" on the wall - if I run everything into one HDMI input it should survive a few more years.

Looks great however I don't see any acoustic treatment anywhere? You are missing out on major improvements.

Acoustic treatment will be coming at some point. The room and system sound fine as they are.

Your room looks cool and comfortable

I like the look of London acoustic kits, seem well made and could suit your room?

I have these at work, but will most likely go the Vicoustic route instead.

Hi Mark

I have been doing a lot of reading lately about the Vicoustic products which are available through West Coast HiFi. Have you done anything with your acoustic treatment plan yet ?
