Nice setup!

What cart will you be installing in the turntable? Also, what are the dimensions of the isolation platform?

Haven't decided on cart yet, but maybe an Ortofon Rondo Red MC. The platform is the matching ProJect Ground-It Deluxe 3. Dimensions are 500mm x 65mm x 400mm.

Very nice Mark. By the way, is it true that you no longer work at Sound Advice ?

That's correct. A change of scenery is always good.

Beautiful symmetry. Hmmm, how are you going to incorporate the TT full time? Raise the TV or wall shelf off to the side?

Are they candles or lights? If lights do you mind me asking where you got them? Really classy low light feel to the room with them on.

Still AV related, or in a different field altogether?

Believe it or not after 4 years of ownership I only mounted the Pioneer mere weeks before I bought the TT (at a bargain price) so I assumed that whatever TT I bought I would have enough clearance. I may change the height in the future but not short term. Having said that, the TT is still a few mm lower than the bottom edge of the screen so doesn't impede watching TV.
The lamps either side are indeed lights - I have both them and the floor light (to the right in the room - not visible in the pics) using LIFX wifi LED globes. These things are cool and I can set scenes and change any or all lights to one of 16.7 million colours! The desktop lamps I bought many years ago from Target for about $25 each.

I should point out that the original pictures in the first post were taken a few months ago, prior to some flooding damage. The system is still identical, except we now have a darker wooden floor, which actually suits the room a lot better.

Looks great. No doubt it sounds great too.

I love that the Cyrus stuff is half-width. Makes it so much more practical when fitting into an AV cabinet like that.
