According to http://myswitch.digitalready.gov.au/ you are elegible for VAST satellite coverage because of a low unreliable signal from anywhere.

The major TV antenna manufacturers do not have an MA16 in their current range of products. An MA16 is however a WiFi antenna.

VAST Satellite reception is the best option for you however if you want Adelaide you should be using an phased array antenna on a tall mast  but rotated so the antenna elements are horizontal not vertical as shown.

For Riverland you need http://www.hillsante...&ProductID=5028 pointed in a different direction.

Mt Lofty 115 km away at a bearing from true north of 197 degrees.

Loxton 143 km away bearing 112 degrees from true north.

With such distances and a blocked Adelaide path a filtered masthead amplifier is also essential http://www.kingray.n...edge_series.pdf such as a Kingray MHW43 FS with quad shielded cable to the receiver. I do stress that VAST satellite reception is a more reliable option.

Note that you should not use a VHF/UHF antenna for the Riverland as the VHF has been switched off as has channel 2 analog in Adelaide.

Hi All,

I am a brand newbee to both this site and digital TV in general and am wondering if some one can help.

I live on Hindmarsh Island (near Goolwa SA). I have just bought a new TV (Panasonic 52inch HDTV).

I see from the Govt website that I can get "Good" reception from either Adelaide or Victor Harbor.

As I'm a handyman tragic and like to do things for myself, can anyone offer advice on what antenna I shoul erect?

Thank you.
